Hey Girl! Welcome to my blog!

Updated: Nov 10, 2020

Hey girl! Welcome to my very first blog post! If you're new to me, my name is Melissa Fredericks, but I go by MrsKevOnStage on social media. I am a wife, mother, and a podcast host, but most of all, I am becoming.

By now, I'm pretty sure you've read, or at least heard of First Lady Michelle Obama's book, Becoming. If you haven't read it, I HIGHLY recommend it. While the book is many things, what I love most about it is that at the heart of the book, is a familiar story of a woman evolving, growing, and fully stepping into herself.

This is essentially my story. The woman I was just a few months ago, let alone, a few years ago is completely different from the woman you see today. I am no longer shrinking in my own skin, I am stepping into all that this life has for me. It is my hope that as I'm going through my own personal journey of becoming, and I share with you 'all the things' that I encourage you to do the same. The "All the Things" blog will include moments of vulnerability, transparency, along with my cooking failures (and successes), a few fashion and makeup tips, marriage tips, mommy-ing tips, and of course my constant revelations that may snatch your edges from time-to-time. Basically, all the things...hence the name of the blog!

At the end of the day, I hope that my journey not only resonates with you, but also encourages you to step into the space specifically and uniquely designed for you!

Ok, that's it for now!

Link to my outfit is here and I'll do a separate post on a few of my favorite makeup items!

I am becoming. I like that. I can say that I have grown I would think lol I’m my journey as a mom of two no longer focusing on being a stay at home mom as a downside but now planning how I can help encourage other stay at moms out there by being more transparent! I Like the fact that we aren’t obligated to be the women of yesterday but can thrive in our growth with no shame.
